-淮山 (Chinese Yam) 30g

-茯苓 (Poria) 30g

-薏米 (Job’s Tear) 40g

-白扁豆 (White Hyacinth Bean) 20g

-山楂 (Hawthorn) 15g

-甘草 (Licorice) 10g

-紅棗 (Red Date) 15g

-蜜棗 (Honey Date) 10g

-陳皮 (Tangerine Peel) 5g

Directions:

Step 1: Wash all ingredients. Optional: Blanch and add lean meat or pork rib (not included).

Step 2: With all the ingredients in a stock pot, (add 4-5 slices of ginger, not included), add 1.5 liter of water and boil on high heat.

Step 3: Switch to medium to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour, season with salt.
